Dental Health Outreach Program at our Corporate Partner

Last week we undertook a Dental Awareness and Check-up camp at one of the largest corporate houses in Kolkata, as a part of of our Corporate Outreach Program.

At The Dentique, we believe that a little bit of awareness goes a long way in preventing major dental problems in the future. We as a society have begun to now take care of our bodies, our health. We see the mass participation in the marathons or the footfalls in the Gyms. Morning walks by the lake. We want better services from the authorities, cleaner air, cleaner water and cleaner soil. We have begun to realize that Health is Wealth, better still, Health is the only Wealth.

However, the awareness of Oral Health remains fairly low in our country. We visit our Dentist only when we have to. When the pain in our teeth is unbearable. That too, most of us will try popping a few pain killers first. In case the pain goes away, we cancel the Dentists’ appointment. What we do not realize is that there is a problem in the making.

A problem which could have been avoided with a regular check-up. We also understand that given our schedules that is easier said than done. Therefore as a part of our Corporate Outreach Program we are going to major corporates and educating their employees about oral healthcare. It is our effort to raise oral health awareness levels.
